We do a lot of road trips; today's was a drive to Ashburn to pick up Nanny (my grandmother) and go on a little rambling drive. We drove all the way out to The Plains, VA. On the way back towards Ashburn, we very serendipitously ended up in Aldie, where there is a water driven grist mill, which was still open, and was starting a tour and demonstration in 5 minutes.
Unfortunately, Cary had fallen asleep; Nanny stayed in the car with Cary, while Stella and I enjoyed the demonstration and tour...no pictures unfortunately, we jumped out if the car with out the camera.

Then we stopped at a little hole in the wall for some decent BBQ.
