Another Measly Harvest

Between very hands-off farming and something eating all of the leaves, this is all we managed.
They're tasty though! I'd say we've got 4 dinners' worth.

New Pets

Apparently the ants thought it best to come inside after the hurricane. I tried to get them all to come to the front of the cabinet with some honey (to avoid pulling everything out), but it wasn't successful. I do like this photo- 'ants at the watering hole'

Wild Skies

This is a fast moving storm that came through the day before the hurricane. I know what the sailors say about red sky at night...what about violet sky at night? The whole sky was an incredible shade of dark purple with angry black clouds speeding along the horizon.

An Art Museum Visit

Teacher Meet-Up

We went to my friend Eileen's (or 'the lady with the nice doggie', as she was referred to later) house to meet up with Eileen and Meaghan-two of my bestest teacher friends; had a great afternoon catching up, eating a yummy lunch, and enjoying Eileen's wonderful screened in porch! Stella refused to pet Dibs, the dog or give him a treat, no matter how cute he looked! Cary on the other hand got great joy out of being tickled by his fuzzy fur. I should have had Stella take a picture of the three of us :)

Birthday Visit
