We went on the train to DC with Daddy, stopped by his work, Postal Museum, picnic, National Gallery sculpture garden, Museum of Natural History...

Chores and Allowance

Built in Playdates For Stella

I've got 5-6 kids for (most) of the next two weeks (yikes!).  One of our new friends is four, so Stella has a built in playmate!

We're Going To The Zoo, Zoo, Zoo (Raffi)

Met up with some Mama friends at the zoo...first real warm weekend of spring =mad house at the zoo.  Overall fun though :)

 
 
 
 
 

Maple Syruping

 

 We drove up to Cunningham Falls State Park today for demonstrations on tapping sugar maples and boiling syrup down.  Also, some climbing on rocks, playing in the little bit of snow that's left, and playing at the lakeside.  It was a beautiful early spring day!

We bought a little bottle of syrup (which came from the same farm we always get our syrup from I'm proud to say).  Naturally, it was a 'breakfast for dinner' night.
