stop to explore the mud and water on this warm for January afternoon.





Stella spent quite a while exploring the mud, mixing it with water, and testing the consistency; inspired I believe by an episode of 'Peep' in which the birds help Beaver Boy make a dam by mixing soil and water to make mud of just the right consistency-not to dry and not too wet. Stella spoke of 'making a beaver dam' in reference to what she was doing. We'll have to visit the pond in Odenton where I've seen evidence of beavers and explore this a little more...
