The Baby can- roll over back to front, grab her toes, scootch herself forward, hold up her head well when on her tummy, reach for something and grab it, hold her own bottle (including throwing her head back like any good drinker to get out every last drop!), kick a target, pinch...

After a two week hiatus from anything more than cat napping at the breast, the Baby has welcomed real naps back into her life!

Our laid back girl is still moving easily between bottle and breast; if Mama didn't hate to pump so much ('the devil's work' Auntie Allison calls it), perhaps those bottles could be a little less formula.

Photo below by Stella; the determined look on my face tells me we were having a period of distractibility, nothing like a head turning in the opposite direction with your nipple firmly attached to it to get you to pay attention!

So sweet! :) I love having my blog to document things like this. I can't believe she's only 5 months! I mean, somewhere I knew that, but she looks so much older! I guess because she's so long? Cohen is tall too. He's always been off the charts for height.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie! Yes, she is a long, thin girl like her sister!
